Our Mission
Dizzy Dog Animal Rescue is an esteemed non-profit organization registered as a 501(c)(3). Our organization is driven by a profound mission that centers around rescuing and saving urgent dogs from high-risk shelters. We recognize the critical importance of providing these dogs with the necessary care, compassion, and support until we can secure permanent, loving homes for them.
In addition to our rescue efforts, Dizzy Dog Animal Rescue actively engages in outreach initiatives and educational programs. We firmly believe that advocacy and education are instrumental in shaping a compassionate community and fostering a profound understanding of the needs and well-being of animals. By raising awareness and promoting responsible pet ownership, we strive to create a future where the heartbreaking issue of homeless pets becomes a thing of the past.
At Dizzy Dog Animal Rescue, we hold the conviction that every life matters. Each dog we rescue is valued and deserving of a safe, nurturing environment where they can thrive and experience the unconditional love they deserve. We are committed to making a lasting impact and working tirelessly towards a time when no animal is left without a home or care.
Join us on our journey as we advocate for animals, offer a helping hand to those in need, and strive to create a compassionate society where homeless pets are a thing of the past. Together, we can make a difference and ensure a brighter future for animals in our community and beyond.
Testimonials
I applied for Kano after seeing him on pet finder and reading his bio. Soon after I applied someone was in contact to set everything up for me! The process was so smooth and made very stress-free and easy by the wonderful staff/volunteers. I was so impressed by how the logistics were taken care of during transport all the way to the PNW! I was also so very lucky to have a supportive foster who I am still in contact with.
I am so thankful for the work you all do. Kano has been with me almost 3 weeks and is slowly settling in with his new family.

I wanted to reach out to say thank you and to tell you how amazing our baby girl is (who we adopted from you all over a year ago!)…. Brittany offered to have Winona transported to Salt Lake City for us. Words can’t describe the weight this lifted off our shoulders. The accessibility of this transport changed everything for us.
As a rescue, you all do incredible work to save dogs who might not have had visibility otherwise. The thought that our Winona and her whole litter would’ve been killed at the end of the week in the shelter where their mom gave birth to them is unimaginable. And you all are saving lives like hers every. single. day. I can’t believe the commitment of the folks who work with you all, the incredible feats you complete every day, and the joy you bring to our homes.
We are indebted to you. Thank you for our Winona and all of the other beautiful souls you’ve saved.
